I ordered the locks and the mounts for my Garmin 8410xsv. Both appear to be rock solid and should seriously deter the casual thief. I plan to back the mounts with aluminum plate under the helm to make it harder for someone to rip them loose. There's not much you can do if they show up with a saws all but this will stop those who want to unscrew the mounts and walk with the head unit.
I got them for my Helix 9 Mount. It was easy to install and seem to be made well. Definitely gives me a little relief from worry about my screen being stolen when I go inside stores or stay overnight at a new place.
Awesome product! With the cost of electronics today it’s a must. No more removing them or worrying if they will be there after a night in the hotel or simply eating a meal out of site of the boat. Easy install! Price point is as good as it gets…
