As a senior angler, the Booma Step is a must have. Adds stability for much greater balance. Gitcha one!
The Booma step really helps my knees. Before the step I was trying to balance on a 4” tongue with the trailer in the water, while trying to connect the front hook. I have “old” knees and it really hurts to squat down. So I would try to bend over without squatting and it was tough to hook the front of the boat before pulling up the ramp unless I was standing in the water. Now, the Booma step give me a wider platform to stand on, I can squat down on one knee with the booma padded step and it doesn’t hurt my knees. The Booma step was a good investment for me.
