We're avid boaters so we know that there are some trailers where you simply CANNOT mount to the winch!

We've designed several brackets that allow for mounting to the frame or tongue on trailers like this.

Step installation is very simple and usually takes less than 30 minutes. Your order will come with a paper copy of instructions and you will also receive an email with a digital color copy, if you prefer to use that!

You can check out our installation page for video walk-throughs as well. No drilling required for most boat trailers.

All of our Steel Steps will fit through a standard 7ft tall garage door.

If you have a shorter garage door height, we can modify your steps per your request in order to get them to the needed size. To get started on a custom sized step system email Sales@BoatEFX.com.

Our American steel and are rated and tested for up to 450lbs.

The AlumaSTEPs are made of Aluminum and are rated for 385 lbs.

In most cases the steps will not stick out beyond your boat fenders/tires. Our step systems are also adjustable in terms of positioning which allows you to place them exactly where you want them!

On occasion we may ask you to measure the width of your trailer winch post. We need 3 measurements, width (bow to stern), width (port to starboard), and the height. Refer to this image for a guide.

In order to provide you with the correct length of bolts, we need to know the height of your trailer tongue. Refer to this image for a guide.

In the chance you cannot confirm the tongue height, we suggest going with the 5-7" option -- this will ensure the bolts are long enough to fit your tongue (as long as it is under 7"!)

We actually discontinued the production of those caps as we found they were not necessary. The video is outdated and we plan to re-shoot when the weather allows.

Yes. If you order more than 1 set of GraphLOX we will be sure to key them all the same.

On our GraphLOX product page there is an option to type in your current key code. Your new locks will be keyed to match.

We are able to manufacture our trailer steps for just about every boat and trailer type, brand, and year.

For Steel Steps, feel free to use our custom step product option. Use this if your boat is a Deep V.

We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.

Our shipping lead times vary depending on the season (busy season starts in March) and the products ordered.

However, we generally are able to ship most orders within 5-7 business days.

Items like accessories, cleaners, and merch often ship within 2 business days.

Yes! All orders over $100 come with free shipping.

We regularly ship to the United States and Canada. To enquire about shipping to a different destination, please contact us.

Products must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Products must be returned in the same condition in which they were received and include all the original packaging and parts.

Returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Installed foam products and Step Systems that were further customized (either by things like color or sizing) are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

We offer a Limited Lifetime warranty on all BoatEFX products. You can learn more about our warranty policy here.

We take care in packaging our products for shipping, however, once an item has left our facility it is no longer in our control in the handling of your order. If you receive a damaged shipping box please contact us before opening and within 48hrs of delivery.
