How To Determine Number of Steps Needed?
Measure from the top of the trailer tongue/frame directly vertical to the top edge/rub rail of the boat. This is your rise which corresponds to the recommended number of steps.

Outstanding heavy duty boat trailer steps, excellent engineering with great instructions. I was able to installed it my self with the aid of my hoist and floor jack. I am 78 years old and really enjoyed putting it together. It was a must have for my wife and I to get into the boat. Thank you BoatEFX.
I was able to install everything myself except mounting the steps. I just needed one person to fit the bolts when I positioned the steps where I liked them. It made getting the boat on and off the trailer by myself much more safe. It was neccessary buy for me.
make sure your stickers with arrows are on right. Beside that no problems
